Dr. Reilly is a general practitioner that has received additional training in implants, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, soft tissue management, sleep apnea, Botox, and dermal fillers. She enjoys treating patients of all ages. Her education after dental school has been weighted heavily in cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction in patients that need removable or implant retained prostheses. Dr. Reilly is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and she is certified to place implants, as she completed the Alabama Implant Education residency.
Dr. Reilly's dental practice is able to provide patients with the best of care in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Every dental treatment room provides our patients with a spectacular view setting, including a creek and some of God's wonderful creatures. We frequently have wildlife from the National Park, which is across the street, wander into our back yard.
As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, completing oral cancer screenings, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your diet and medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health. An example would include diagnosing medication related xerostomia, commonly referred to as "dry mouth." We can help you deal with dry mouth and enhance your quality of life. After every cleaning, we send you home with a list of products to shop for that may help you with your home care.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
